PRECONCEIVED IDEAS.
The close grip press works the middle of the pectorals!
In order to finely sculpt and develop my pectorals, I work the central part by holding two dumbbells against each other and do presses!
Totally incorrect.

Look at the movement : EB33

It will be noted that the movement of the arms in link to the bust is identical to that carried out in the movement : EH15
The arms leave on the sides of the rib cage to arrive perpendicular to the bust, on the level of the axe of the shoulders.

The pectorals are adductors on the sagittal (lateral) plane of the arms.
This means that they are used to bring the hands together when you are lying down with the arms stretched out to the sides.

In contrast, on the frontal plane the anterior deltoid does most of the work.
This is why you have much less power in exercise EH15 than when doing dumbbell flyes.

In the movement : le EB33, it is also necessary to announce the significant part of work realized by the tricepses.
