PRECONCEIVED IDEAS.
The PULL OVER is an exercise for the pectorals!
I always include the pull over in my pectoral sessions.
In fact, it works this muscle very well since at the end of the movement, the chest cavity is expanded!

To realise the fallacy of this statement, simply sit down like on the photograph.
Press firmly on the chair with your right hand.
You can see that the pectoralis major muscle is relatively relaxed whereas the lattissimus dorsi is fully contracted.

Pull over

To give you an idea of the work done by the dorsals, use a pull over machine, in order to feel the effort until you touch your thighs.

Force as much as you can in your series and continue with some pull-ups!

You cannot do any more. Your dorsals have had enough.

In the pectorals, the muscle worked is the small pectoral.
Like the serratus muscle, in fact, it is one of the shoulder depressors.
