Fatty acids
Fatty acids are obtained from lipids and from excess carbohydrates.

After digestion, carbohydrates which could not be stored in the muscles and in the liver are converted into fats.

These fats can be converted into energy, but only very slowly and with great difficulty while jogging, for example, as long as you do not run too fast since in this case you will use the glycogen.
